The TITAN USA TC17008 is a solid carbide square end mill designed for precision milling operations in metalworking and machining applications. With a 1/8 inch cutting diameter and a 1 inch length of cut, this single-end tool delivers clean, flat-bottomed cuts in ferrous and non-ferrous materials. The micrograin carbide construction provides hardness and wear resistance suited for high-speed cutting. Two flutes with a 30-degree right-hand helix promote efficient chip evacuation and reduce heat buildup during operation. The bright, uncoated finish makes this tool well suited for non-ferrous materials such as aluminum, brass, and copper. Machinists and CNC operators install this tool on vertical machining centers, CNC mills, and manual milling machines.
This end mill is used in precision machining environments including job shops, tool-and-die operations, prototype fabrication, and production milling. The 1/8 inch shank diameter fits standard ER collets and milling chucks commonly found in CNC and manual mill setups. The centercutting geometry allows plunge milling as well as peripheral and slot milling. It is appropriate for light finishing passes and slotting operations in aluminum, plastics, and soft steels where an uncoated tool is preferred.
Designed as an OEM-style replacement or standard tooling option for CNC and manual milling machines accepting a 1/8 inch shank diameter via ER collet, milling chuck, or equivalent toolholding system.
Installation should be performed by a qualified machinist or CNC operator. Ensure the machine spindle is fully powered down and the tool changer or collet nut is properly torqued before beginning any cutting operation. Verify runout with a dial indicator after tool installation to confirm concentricity. Follow the machine manufacturer guidelines and applicable shop safety standards when setting speeds and feeds for carbide tooling.
