The TITAN USA TC15064 is a solid carbide square end mill designed for precision milling operations in ferrous and non-ferrous materials. It features a 1-inch mill diameter, a 2.25-inch length of cut, and a 30-degree helix angle that promotes efficient chip evacuation and smooth cutting action. With two flutes and an upcut flute geometry, this end mill is well-suited for slotting, profiling, and peripheral milling where a clean finish and stable tool engagement are required. The bright, uncoated surface finish preserves the carbide substrate and suits applications where coating buildup or thermal sensitivity is a concern. Machinists and CNC operators in tool shops and production environments are the primary users.
This end mill fits standard CNC machining centers and manual knee mills equipped with an R8 or other 1-inch shank-compatible toolholder. Its single-end configuration and 5-inch overall length accommodate setups where moderate reach is needed without sacrificing rigidity. The right-hand cutting and right-hand flute direction are consistent with standard spindle rotation on most vertical machining centers. The micrograin carbide grade supports higher surface speeds and feeds compared to standard carbide grades, making it appropriate for production runs in aluminum, brass, steel, and similar workpiece materials.
Designed for use in CNC machining centers and manual mills equipped with toolholders accepting a 1-inch shank diameter, including standard ER, Weldon, and shrink-fit chuck styles.
Installation should be performed by a qualified machinist or CNC operator following standard toolholder torque and runout verification procedures. Power down and lock out the spindle before inserting or removing the end mill from the toolholder. Confirm shank engagement depth meets toolholder manufacturer minimums before beginning a cut. Always verify tool runout with a dial indicator after seating to avoid premature tool wear or workpiece dimensional error.
