The TITAN USA TC14924 is a solid carbide, double-end square end mill designed for precision milling operations in metal cutting and machining applications. With a 3/8 inch cutting diameter and 9/16 inch length of cut, it delivers consistent material removal in ferrous and non-ferrous workpieces. The AlTiN finish provides thermal resistance and extended tool life in high-speed dry or semi-dry cutting conditions. Four flutes with a 30-degree right-hand upcut helix promote efficient chip evacuation and surface finish quality. The centercutting geometry allows plunge entry directly into the workpiece. Weighing 0.12 pounds, this double-end configuration provides two usable cutting ends per tool, reducing tooling cost per operation.
The TC14924 is suited for CNC machining centers, manual mills, and multi-axis setups in job shop and production environments. Typical applications include slotting, profiling, and pocket milling in steel, stainless steel, aluminum, and similar materials where a 3/8 inch diameter end mill is specified. The 3/8 inch shank diameter fits standard ER collet chucks, end mill holders, and shrink-fit tooling systems common in most machine shop setups. The 2-1/2 inch overall length accommodates standard reach requirements without sacrificing rigidity. This tool is specified and sourced by machinists, tooling engineers, and CNC operators.
Designed as a standard-profile replacement or production end mill for any machine tool setup requiring a 3/8 inch diameter, 3/8 inch shank, 4-flute square end mill with an AlTiN finish and double-end configuration.
Installation should be performed by a qualified machinist or CNC operator with the spindle fully stopped and machine in an e-stop or locked-out state. Secure the shank in a clean, properly sized collet or end mill holder to the appropriate clamping torque per the toolholder manufacturer specification. Inspect the collet bore and tool shank for chips or contamination before seating. Verify runout after installation before beginning the cut cycle.
