The TITAN USA TC12924 is a 3-flute solid carbide ball end mill designed for precision milling in a wide range of metalworking applications. With a 0.375 inch cutting diameter, a 1 inch length of cut, and a 30-degree helix angle, this tool delivers reliable performance in both roughing and finishing passes. The ball nose geometry produces a 0.1875 inch nose radius, making it well suited for contoured surfaces, 3D profiling, and radius slot milling. The bright uncoated finish is standard for general-purpose carbide tooling. Overall length is 2.5 inches with a 0.375 inch straight-cylindrical shank. Licensed machinists, tool and die makers, and CNC operators are the primary users.
This end mill is built for general-purpose machining on CNC mills and manual knee mills. Compatible workpiece materials include steel, stainless steel, cast iron, non-ferrous metals, superalloys, and titanium, covering ISO material codes P, M, K, N, and S. The standard-length geometry and medium helix style make it a practical choice for shops that need a single tool to handle both roughing passes and finish cuts without changing tooling. The straight shank fits standard ER collets and side-lock holders sized for 3/8 inch tooling.
Designed for use with standard 3/8 inch ER collets and side-lock tool holders on CNC machining centers and manual mills. Suitable for workpiece materials including steel, stainless steel, cast iron, non-ferrous metals, superalloys, and titanium per ISO codes P, M, K, N, and S.
Install in a clean, properly sized collet or side-lock holder and torque to the tool holder manufacturer specification before running. Confirm spindle runout is within acceptable tolerance before engaging the cut, as excessive runout accelerates wear on carbide end mills. Power down and lock out the machine spindle before changing or inspecting tooling. Follow shop and machine-tool manufacturer guidelines for speeds and feeds based on workpiece material and depth of cut.
