The TITAN USA TC10828 is a single-end square end mill ground from solid micrograin carbide and designed for milling ferrous and non-ferrous metals in machining center and manual mill applications. The tool measures 7/16 inch (0.4375 inches) in diameter with a 1 inch length of cut and a 2-3/4 inch overall length. The 30-degree right-hand helix promotes efficient chip evacuation, and the three-flute geometry balances chip load with surface finish quality. The bright, uncoated finish is well-suited for applications where coating buildup or heat sensitivity is a concern. Machinists and toolroom technicians rely on micrograin carbide construction for edge retention in demanding cutting operations.
The TC10828 is used in slot milling, peripheral milling, and profiling operations on machining centers, knee mills, and CNC routers. The centercutting design allows plunge entry without a pre-drilled pilot hole. The right-hand cutting direction is standard for conventional and climb milling setups. This tool is appropriate for use in production shops, toolrooms, and job shops working with aluminum, steel, cast iron, and similar materials requiring a compact-diameter carbide end mill.
Designed for use in standard 7/16 inch collet chucks, end mill holders, or ER-style collet systems on CNC machining centers, manual knee mills, and CNC routers requiring a 7/16 inch shank single-end square end mill.
Installation should be performed by a qualified machinist or toolroom technician. Ensure the spindle is fully stopped and the machine is powered down before changing tooling. Seat the shank to the full recommended insertion depth in the tool holder and torque the retention system per the tool holder manufacturer specifications. Inspect the tool holder bore and collet for runout before use, as excessive runout accelerates edge wear on carbide tooling.
