The TITAN USA TC10533 is a solid carbide square end mill designed for general-purpose milling in metal, composites, and engineering plastics. It features a 0.5-inch cutting diameter, a 1.25-inch length of cut, and a 3-inch overall length with a 0.5-inch shank. The four-flute, right-hand cut geometry with a 30-degree helix angle delivers efficient chip evacuation and smooth surface finishes on a wide range of workpiece materials. The upcut flute configuration pulls chips away from the cutting zone, reducing heat buildup and extending tool life. Micrograin carbide construction provides the hardness and wear resistance needed for demanding cutting operations on manual mills, CNC machining centers, and multi-axis equipment.
This end mill suits production and job-shop environments where reliable material removal and dimensional accuracy are required. The centercutting design allows direct plunge entry into a workpiece, eliminating the need for a pre-drilled pilot hole in most applications. Typical uses include slotting, profiling, pocketing, and contouring operations on ferrous and non-ferrous metals. It is sized for standard 0.5-inch ER or side-lock collet chucks common on vertical machining centers and knee mills. No coating is applied, making the TC10533 well suited for use with cutting fluids or oils that would otherwise react with certain coated tooling.
Designed as a standard 0.5-inch shank square end mill suitable for use in vertical machining centers, CNC knee mills, and similar equipment accepting 0.5-inch collet or side-lock tool holders.
Installation should be performed by a qualified machinist or CNC setup technician. Ensure the spindle is fully stopped and the machine is in a safe, locked-out state before changing tooling. Seat the shank fully in the collet or tool holder and torque the retention hardware to the tool holder manufacturer specification. Verify runout with a dial indicator before beginning a cutting operation to avoid premature tool wear or workpiece damage.
