The TITAN USA TC10528 is a 4-flute solid carbide square end mill designed for precision milling operations in metalworking and machining applications. With a 0.4375-inch (7/16 inch) cutting diameter and a 1-inch length of cut, it handles slotting, profiling, and peripheral milling with consistent accuracy. The micrograin carbide construction provides the hardness and wear resistance required for ferrous and non-ferrous materials. A 30-degree helix angle promotes smooth chip evacuation and reduces cutting forces. The bright, uncoated finish makes the tool well suited for applications where coating buildup or thermal sensitivity is a concern. This tool is installed and used by machinists and CNC operators in production and job shop environments.
The TC10528 is appropriate for use in CNC machining centers and manual milling machines handling ferrous metals, aluminum, plastics, and composites. Its right-hand cut and right-hand upcut flute geometry are standard for the majority of vertical milling setups. The 0.4375-inch shank diameter matches directly to standard ER and end mill holders of the same bore size, and the 2.75-inch overall length fits within typical tool-length offset ranges for general-purpose work envelopes.
Designed as a standard-geometry square end mill compatible with ER collet chucks, end mill holders, and set-screw holders bored to 0.4375 inches (7/16 inch) for use in CNC machining centers and manual knee mills.
Installation should be performed by a qualified machinist or CNC operator. Ensure the machine spindle is fully powered down and the tool holder is clean and free of chips or debris before seating the tool. Secure the shank to the full recommended engagement depth in the holder to prevent pullout under cutting loads. Follow applicable shop safety practices and machine manufacturer guidelines for tool runout and torque specifications on the holder retention mechanism.
