The TITAN USA TB19506 is a double-cut carbide abrasive bur with a ball head profile, designed for material removal, deburring, and shaping in metalworking and fabrication applications. Built to industry specification SD-41, this bur features an uncoated carbide head with a cutting diameter of 3/32 inch and an overall length of 1-1/2 inches. The 1/8 inch shank fits standard die grinders and rotary tools. It is rated for a maximum of 80,000 RPM, making it suitable for high-speed material removal passes on both ferrous and non-ferrous metals. Machinists, toolmakers, and fabricators reach for this style of bur when working on intricate contours, cavities, and radius blends that larger tooling cannot access.
This bur is suited for use on ferrous metals such as steel and cast iron, as well as non-ferrous metals including aluminum, brass, and copper. The ball profile is particularly effective for creating concave surfaces, blending weld seams, and enlarging or shaping drilled holes and cavities. It is commonly used in tool-and-die shops, maintenance and repair operations, and general metal fabrication settings where precise, controlled material removal is required in tight or curved geometries.
Designed as an OEM-style replacement or standard-inventory carbide bur for die grinders and rotary tools accepting a 1/8 inch shank collet, suitable for ferrous and non-ferrous metal stock removal and finishing.
Installation and use should be performed by a qualified machinist, toolmaker, or metalworking professional. Before mounting the bur, ensure the die grinder or rotary tool is fully powered off and disconnected from its power source. Verify the collet size matches the 1/8 inch shank and that the collet nut is tightened securely before operation. Never exceed the rated maximum RPM of 80,000, and always wear appropriate personal protective equipment including eye protection when operating rotary abrasive tooling.
