The TITAN USA SD94738 is a reduced shank twist drill bit machined from high-speed steel and finished with a black oxide and straw coating. It carries a 19/32-inch cutting diameter (0.5938 inches decimal) and steps down to a 1/2-inch reduced shank with a flat, allowing it to seat in standard 1/2-inch drill chucks when the full cutting diameter would otherwise require a larger chuck. The 118-degree split point angle is a general-purpose geometry suited to steel, cast iron, aluminum, and most common shop materials. Two flutes channel chips out of the hole efficiently during drilling operations.

This bit is used in metalworking, fabrication, mechanical maintenance, and general industrial applications where a 19/32-inch hole is required but the available drill press or hand drill is limited to a 1/2-inch chuck capacity. The reduced shank design makes it a practical choice for maintenance technicians, millwrights, and fabricators working with standard equipment. Installation Notes

Install and remove drill bits only with the drill fully powered off and unplugged or locked out per OSHA lockout/tagout procedures. Apply appropriate cutting fluid when drilling ferrous metals to extend bit life and improve hole finish.
