The TITAN USA SD93660 is a reduced shank cobalt drill bit engineered for drilling hard and tough materials where standard high-speed steel falls short. Built to Series 622 specifications, it features a 15/16-inch cutting diameter with a reduced 1/2-inch shank, allowing it to run in standard 1/2-inch chucks without requiring a larger machine spindle. The 135-degree split point angle reduces walking on entry and lowers the thrust needed to start the cut. At 6 inches overall length with a 3-inch flute length, this bit handles moderate-depth holes in steel, stainless, cast iron, and other ferrous alloys. The bright uncoated finish is compatible with cutting fluids and standard lubrication practices.
