Manufactured from high-speed steel with a bright, uncoated finish, this bit features a 1-inch cutting diameter paired with a 1/2-inch reduced shank, allowing it to seat in standard 1/2-inch chucks. The 118-degree split-point angle provides a self-centering start and is well suited to general-purpose drilling in steel, cast iron, aluminum, wood, and plastics. The two-flute helical design clears chips efficiently during through-hole drilling.
