The TITAN USA CD47756 is a high speed steel jobber-length drill bit with a titanium nitride (TiN) coating, designed for precision drilling in non-ferrous metals and similar materials. It carries a wire gauge size of No. 54, a decimal diameter of 0.0465 inches (3/64 inch nominal), and an overall length of 1.75 inches. The standard 118-degree split point allows for clean entry without walking on smooth surfaces. A two-flute right-hand spiral design clears chips efficiently during through-hole and blind-hole operations. This bit is suited for machinists, maintenance technicians, and fabricators working with light-gauge non-ferrous stock.
The CD47756 fits into standard drill chucks and collet holders that accept a straight cylindrical shank of 0.0465 inches in diameter. It is best applied in bench drill presses, CNC drilling centers, and handheld electric drills used in light fabrication, electronics assembly, and maintenance work. The 3/4-inch flute length supports a maximum drilling depth of 3/4 inch, making it appropriate for thin-stock and sheet applications. This bit is sold individually and is part of the TITAN USA CD47 series of jobber drills.
Designed as an OEM-style replacement or substitute jobber drill for use in any standard drill chuck or collet accepting a 3/64-inch straight cylindrical shank, including bench presses, drill stations, and handheld electric drills.
Installation should be performed by a qualified machinist or technician familiar with rotating tooling safety practices. Ensure the drill chuck or collet is fully de-energized and at a complete stop before inserting or removing the bit. Secure the shank with the proper chuck key or collet wrench to the manufacturer-specified clamping procedure. Do not exceed the recommended feed rate or drilling depth for the workpiece material to avoid bit deflection or breakage.
