Built from high speed steel with a black oxide, oxide, and gold coating, the bit features a 135-degree split point that self-centers on contact, reducing the need for a center punch and minimizing walking on hard surfaces. With two spiral flutes in a regular helix pattern and a straight cylindrical shank, this bit fits standard three-jaw chucks and is suited for hand drilling, drill press, and CNC drilling operations.
