Black oxide coating reduces friction and provides moderate corrosion resistance during use. The two-flute spiral geometry with a regular helix clears chips efficiently during through-hole and blind-hole drilling operations. At 73.00 mm (2.8762 inches) overall length with a 45.00 mm (1.7730 inch) flute length, this bit fits within the CD42 series jobber-length standard. It is suited for machinists, fabricators, maintenance technicians, and tool-and-die professionals working with hand-held drills, drill presses, and CNC drilling operations.
