Ground from high speed steel and finished with a black oxide coating, it measures 0.1160 inches in diameter and carries a 118-degree standard point angle. Overall length is 2.75 inches with a 1.625-inch spiral flute length and a straight-cylindrical shank. The two-flute, right-hand spiral design clears chips efficiently during through-hole and blind-hole operations. This bit is suited for use in drill presses, hand drills, and CNC drilling setups by machinists, maintenance technicians, and fabricators working with ferrous and non-ferrous stock.
The CD40232 is built for drilling steel, stainless steel, cast iron, non-ferrous metals, and superalloys including titanium-bearing materials.
