The TITAN PRO TRCF70 is a single-capacitance, round motor run capacitor rated at 70 microfarads (MFD) and 440 volts, built for continuous-duty operation in HVAC equipment. Constructed from drawn steel, the TRCF70 measures 2-3/8 inches in diameter by 4-5/16 inches in height. It uses non-PCB biodegradable synthetic oil and includes a physical interrupter for safety. Life-tested at 120 percent of rated voltage at 85 degrees F for 1,000 continuous hours and cycle-tested at 140 percent of rated voltage at 85 degrees F for 100,000 cycles, this capacitor is built to meet the demands of field-replacement work performed by licensed HVAC technicians.
The TRCF70 is suited for residential and light-commercial HVAC applications, including furnace blower motors and condenser fan motors on air conditioning and refrigerant compressor systems. Its quad-blade quick-connect terminals support fast, reliable field installation without soldering. The round form factor and standard footprint make it a common replacement choice in split-system air conditioners, heat pumps, and gas furnace air handler configurations.
Designed for use on air conditioner and refrigerant compressor systems as well as furnace blower and condenser fan motor circuits requiring a 70 MFD, 440-volt, round run capacitor.
Motor run capacitors must be installed by a qualified HVAC technician. Always disconnect and lock out power to the unit before removing or installing a capacitor, and discharge any stored voltage using an insulated resistor or discharge tool before handling terminals. Verify that the replacement MFD rating and voltage rating match the motor nameplate requirements before installation. Capacitor terminals should seat fully onto motor leads to ensure a secure, low-resistance connection.
