The TINIFIBER TF6-OM3-PL is a 6-core multimode fiber optic cable built around a 900um tight-buffered construction and OM3-grade glass. OM3 fiber supports 10 Gigabit Ethernet at distances up to 300 meters, making it a standard choice for structured cabling, data center backbone runs, and inter-cabinet links. The armored jacket adds mechanical protection against crush loads and rodent damage, suited for installations where the cable runs through conduit, trays, or exposed pathways. Licensed low-voltage contractors and data cabling technicians are the primary installers of this assembly.
This cable is appropriate for indoor and indoor-outdoor multimode fiber runs in commercial and light industrial environments. Typical applications include horizontal and backbone cabling between telecommunications rooms, equipment rooms, and data center rows. The 900um tight buffer construction is compatible with field-termination using standard fusion splice or mechanical splice methods, and works with LC, SC, or ST connectors depending on the termination kit used on site.
Designed as an OEM-style replacement or new-install fiber assembly for multimode OM3 structured cabling systems using 900um tight-buffered armored cable configurations.
Installation should be performed by a qualified low-voltage or fiber optic cabling technician following TIA-568 and local building code requirements. De-energize all active equipment at patch panels and switches before connecting or disconnecting fiber links. Observe minimum bend radius specifications for the cable diameter to avoid microbend attenuation; do not kink or over-bend the armored jacket during pulling. End-face cleanliness is critical — clean connectors with approved fiber optic cleaning tools before mating to any transceiver or adapter.
