The TINIFIBER TF24-OS2-PL is a 24-fiber OS2 singlemode plenum-rated fiber optic cable constructed with 250um fiber geometry. Plenum-rated jackets meet the fire and smoke requirements for installation inside air-handling spaces, making this cable suitable for commercial building infrastructure where code compliance is mandatory. The OS2 singlemode designation indicates a tight-buffered, low-attenuation fiber optimized for long-distance signal transmission. Licensed low-voltage and data cabling contractors typically specify this product for structured cabling backbones in commercial and institutional facilities.
This cable is used in commercial, institutional, and industrial structured cabling installations where singlemode performance and plenum fire ratings are both required. Typical applications include horizontal and backbone runs through air-handling plenums, above drop ceilings, and inside HVAC environmental air spaces. The 24-fiber count supports high-density distribution frames and patch panels in data centers, campus networks, and multi-floor building distribution systems. Each unit is sold individually.
Designed for use in standard OS2 singlemode plenum fiber optic cabling systems. Terminates with industry-standard singlemode connectors and is compatible with singlemode patch panels, distribution frames, and splice enclosures used in commercial structured cabling infrastructure.
Installation should be performed by a licensed low-voltage or data cabling contractor familiar with ANSI/TIA-568 structured cabling standards and local fire codes governing plenum-rated materials. De-energize connected active equipment before splicing or terminating fiber runs. Observe minimum bend radius requirements throughout the pull to avoid fiber stress fractures. Plenum-rated jacket status does not substitute for compliance review with the authority having jurisdiction.
