The TILLMAN 567 is a premium side split cowhide leather helmet bib designed to protect the neck and collar area during welding operations. Constructed from bourbon brown cowhide leather, this bib attaches directly to a welding helmet via a velcro strip, providing partial coverage against sparks and spatter that bypass the helmet shell. At 8 inches wide by 8 inches long, it offers a practical shield for the exposed skin and clothing at the base of the helmet. This is a standard piece of personal protective equipment installed by welders, fabricators, and ironworkers working in environments with elevated spark and spatter exposure.
The TILLMAN 567 is suited for use in structural welding, pipe welding, overhead welding, and general fabrication where neck and collar protection is needed. The velcro attachment system makes it compatible with most standard welding helmets that include a mating velcro strip along the bottom edge. It is especially useful in overhead or vertical welding positions where spatter drop is more likely to reach the neck area.
Designed for use with welding helmets equipped with a velcro attachment strip along the lower edge. Attaches via the included velcro strip to most standard auto-darkening and passive welding helmets that support bib accessories.
Installation is performed by the welder prior to use and requires no tools. Align the velcro strip on the bib with the mating velcro on the underside of the helmet and press firmly to secure. Inspect the velcro connection before each use to confirm the bib is fully seated and will not detach during overhead work. Follow all applicable employer safety programs and ANSI Z49.1 welding safety guidelines when selecting and using personal protective equipment.
