The TIGRE USA INC 1436-020 is a 2-inch polyethylene male iron pipe (MIP) thread insert adapter configured as male thread by barbed insert. It connects PE polyethylene pipe to threaded fittings using stainless steel clamps over the barbed insert end. This fitting is rated for cold water service only and is not approved for compressed air, gas, or residential dwelling installations. The 1436-020 meets ASTM D-2609 standards and carries NSF 14 and NSF 16 listings for potable water service.
