The THOMAS BETTS XC210 is a straight, non-insulated conduit connector designed for use with flexible metal conduit (FMC). Built from die cast zinc, this connector uses a squeeze clamp connection method to secure FMC to an enclosure, junction box, or panel knockout. The 3/8 inch trade size makes it a common choice in residential and light commercial wiring work where FMC is routed to motors, appliances, or equipment connections. Licensed electricians and experienced installers use this type of fitting as a code-compliant termination point for flexible conduit runs.
This connector is suited for non-hazardous area applications in residential and commercial electrical installations. The squeeze clamp design allows for quick, tool-minimized termination of FMC without requiring a separate locknut in most standard applications. It is commonly installed where flexible conduit connects to electrical enclosures, motor terminals, HVAC equipment, and similar end-use points requiring a straight-entry fitting at 3/8 inch trade size.
Designed as an OEM-style replacement and standard-use connector for 3/8 inch flexible metal conduit (FMC) in non-hazardous electrical installations.
Installation is performed by a licensed electrician in accordance with NEC requirements for flexible metal conduit terminations. De-energize the circuit and verify lockout/tagout procedures before beginning work on any enclosure or panel. Insert the FMC into the connector and tighten the squeeze clamp to secure the conduit before inserting the fitting into the knockout. Do not use this connector in hazardous or classified locations.
