The THOMAS BETTS WMG-LT7 is a wire mesh type liquidtight flexible conduit grip designed to secure 2-inch trade size liquidtight flexible conduit in electrical installations. Constructed from stainless steel, it provides corrosion resistance in wet, damp, and corrosive environments. The wire mesh design distributes clamping force evenly around the conduit jacket, preventing severe bends at the termination point and resisting conduit pullout under mechanical stress. Licensed electricians and industrial maintenance technicians install this fitting where liquidtight conduit must be anchored securely at a junction box, enclosure, or equipment entry.
This grip is suited for commercial and industrial electrical applications where liquidtight flexible conduit is routed to motors, pumps, HVAC equipment, or other machinery subject to vibration or movement. The 2-inch trade size accommodates standard 2-inch liquidtight flexible conduit. It is sold in a standard package of 5 units, making it practical for multi-connection installations or service vehicle stock. The stainless steel construction supports use in food processing, water treatment, and other corrosive-environment applications where carbon steel fittings are not appropriate.
Designed as an OEM-style replacement and standard-fit grip for 2-inch trade size liquidtight flexible conduit in residential, commercial, and industrial electrical systems.
Installation should be performed by a licensed electrician in accordance with applicable NEC requirements. De-energize all circuits and lock out the equipment before working on conduit terminations. Slide the wire mesh grip over the conduit end before inserting into the fitting body, and ensure the conduit is not kinked or bent sharply at the entry point. Avoid over-tightening the securing nut, as excessive force can deform the conduit jacket.
