The THOMAS BETTS TV14-10R-XV is a partially insulated circular ring terminal designed for crimped wire terminations in electrical wiring assemblies. It accepts 16 to 14 AWG conductors and fits a number 10 stud size, making it a standard choice for panel wiring, control circuit connections, and general electrical termination work. The copper contact is plated with TiN for corrosion resistance and reliable conductivity. The blue vinyl insulation sleeve provides partial coverage for easy visual identification of wire gauge range. Each terminal measures 0.898 inches in overall length and 0.335 inches in ring width, with a material thickness of 0.031 inches.
This ring terminal is suited for residential, commercial, and light industrial electrical applications. Electricians and panel technicians use these terminals when terminating stranded or solid copper conductors to stud-mounted connections on terminal blocks, bus bars, control panels, and equipment chassis. The number 10 stud size is common in low-voltage control wiring and general-purpose branch circuit termination. Sold in a package quantity of 75, this product is appropriate for bench stocking or job-lot use.
Designed for crimp termination of 16 to 14 AWG conductors to number 10 stud fasteners in standard electrical panel and control wiring applications.
Installation requires a calibrated ratchet crimp tool rated for insulated ring terminals in the 16 to 14 AWG range. De-energize and lock out the circuit before making any terminations. Strip conductor insulation to the length specified by the terminal barrel depth to ensure full conductor engagement. Installations in commercial or industrial settings should comply with applicable NEC requirements for termination methods and conductor sizing.
