The THOMAS BETTS TV10-10R-XV is a partially insulated circular ring terminal designed for secure crimp connections on 12 to 10 AWG copper wire. The terminal body is copper with a tin (TiN) contact plating for corrosion resistance and reliable conductivity. A yellow vinyl insulation sleeve provides partial coverage and quick visual identification of the compatible wire gauge range. At 1.047 inches in overall length and 0.374 inches in ring width, this terminal fits a No. 10 stud. Electricians and panel technicians install these terminals when terminating control wiring, equipment grounding conductors, or branch circuit leads to buss bars, lugs, and terminal blocks.
This ring terminal is suited for residential and commercial electrical applications where a mechanically sound, inspectable crimp connection is required at a No. 10 threaded stud. Typical install scenarios include motor control panels, HVAC equipment wiring harnesses, junction boxes, and general electrical distribution assemblies. The partially insulated design allows visual inspection of the conductor entry point after crimping.
