The THOMAS BETTS TNF10-250MD-XV is a fully insulated male disconnect terminal designed for reliable quick-connect wiring terminations in electrical and control wiring applications. Constructed from nylon with a yellow insulation color, this terminal accepts 12-10 AWG wire and features a 1/4 inch tab width for standard disconnect blade receptacles. The nylon insulation meets UL 94 V-2 flame rating requirements and carries CSA and UL Listed certifications. Electricians and control panel technicians use this terminal where a secure, insulated male tab connection is required on stranded or solid copper conductors.
This disconnect terminal is suited for residential and light commercial electrical work, HVAC control wiring, appliance wiring, and panel assembly. The fully insulated nylon body protects against accidental contact with adjacent conductors. Each package contains 75 terminals, making it a practical quantity for service vehicles, panel shops, or job-site use. The yellow color coding is standard for 12-10 AWG wire range, allowing quick visual identification during installation and inspection.
Designed as an OEM-style replacement male disconnect terminal compatible with standard 1/4 inch quick-disconnect blade receptacles used in residential and commercial electrical, HVAC control, and appliance wiring assemblies.
Installation is performed by licensed electricians or qualified technicians using an appropriate ratcheting crimp tool rated for insulated terminals in the 12-10 AWG range. De-energize and lock out the circuit before terminating or replacing any disconnect terminal. Verify wire gauge falls within the 12-10 AWG range before crimping to ensure a secure mechanical and electrical connection. Follow applicable NEC requirements for terminal selection and wire sizing in the circuit being serviced.
