The THOMAS BETTS TC5344A is a four-way adhesive and screw-mount cable tie base designed to secure and route wire bundles in electrical and low-voltage wiring applications. Made from Nylon 6.6, this mounting base accepts cable ties up to 0.19 inches wide and measures 0.75 inches by 0.75 inches. The four-way tie entry design allows wire bundles to be routed in any direction without requiring the base to be pre-oriented, which reduces installation errors. A mounting hole sized for a No. 8 screw gives installers a second fastening option alongside the integrated adhesive backing. Each standard package contains 100 bases.
This base is suited for residential and commercial electrical, low-voltage controls, and panel wiring work where neat wire management at cross-over points is required. The four-way entry is particularly useful at junction points where wire bundles run in multiple directions. Licensed electricians, controls technicians, and panel builders will find this base a practical solution for organizing cable runs without committing to a fixed bundle direction during layout. The temperature rating of -40 to 185 degrees F makes it appropriate for conditioned and semi-conditioned environments, including mechanical rooms and electrical enclosures.
Designed for use with standard cable ties fitting a 0.19-inch-wide tie slot. Part of the Thomas Betts Series TC TY-RAP mounting base family.
Installation is typically performed by licensed electricians or controls technicians during panel build or cable management work. Clean the mounting surface thoroughly before applying the adhesive base to ensure a secure bond. If using the screw-mount option, power down the circuit or equipment before drilling or fastening into enclosure panels. Follow applicable NEC requirements for cable bundling and support spacing in the installation environment.
