The THOMAS BETTS TC2110 is a straight compression-style conduit connector designed for use with electrical metallic tubing (EMT). It is manufactured from die cast zinc and provides a concrete-tight connection without insulation at the entry point. The compression connection method delivers a secure, vibration-resistant fit that does not require tools beyond basic hand tightening during initial assembly. At a 4-inch trade size, this connector is suited for large-diameter EMT runs in commercial and industrial electrical installations. Licensed electricians and electrical contractors are the primary installers of this fitting.
This connector is intended for use in conduit systems where a concrete-tight rating is required, such as conduit runs embedded in or passing through concrete slabs, walls, or similar masonry assemblies. The straight configuration makes it appropriate for direct entry into enclosures, junction boxes, or panels where the conduit approaches perpendicular to the surface. Its die cast zinc construction provides the durability expected in heavy-duty commercial wiring applications. The non-insulated design is standard for metallic raceway systems where a separate insulating bushing may be installed at the termination point per NEC requirements.

Compression-style fittings require the conduit end to be reamed and deburred before insertion to ensure a proper seal and to protect wire insulation. Where required by code, an insulating bushing should be installed at the conduit termination to protect conductors from the metal edge.
