The THOMAS BETTS SSFCC1/23/4H1/2 is a spring steel bottom flange mounted conduit clip designed to secure rigid and EMT conduit to structural steel flanges and beam surfaces. It accepts 1/2 inch and 3/4 inch EMT as well as 3/4 inch rigid conduit, making it a versatile fastening solution for conduit runs in commercial and industrial electrical installations. The spring steel construction and anodized finish provide corrosion resistance and consistent clamping force without the need for separate hardware. Licensed electricians and electrical contractors install this clip as part of conduit support systems in steel-framed buildings and equipment rooms.
This conduit clip is suited for bottom flange mounting applications where conduit must be routed along structural steel beams or channels. It accommodates flanges between 5/16 inch minimum and 1/2 inch maximum thickness, fitting standard structural steel profiles commonly found in commercial construction and industrial facilities. It is compatible with conduit and pipe support runs requiring a clean, tool-free mounting solution. This clip is sold individually and is appropriate for use in new construction as well as retrofit conduit work.

Installation is performed by licensed electricians in accordance with NEC requirements for conduit support spacing and securing. Power down circuits in the work area before routing or fastening conduit. Verify flange thickness falls within the 5/16 inch to 1/2 inch range before installing the clip to ensure proper seating and retention. Do not force the clip onto flanges outside the specified thickness range, as this can compromise clamping integrity.
