The THOMAS BETTS RB14-14F is a standard fork terminal designed for permanent wire termination in electrical panel wiring, control circuits, and equipment grounding applications. It uses a crimp connection method and is rated for 600 volts. The terminal is partially insulated with a blue nylon sleeve and features a copper contact with a TiN (tin) plating for reliable conductivity and corrosion resistance. Electricians and panel builders use this terminal to terminate conductors securely onto stud-mounted lugs and bus bars. The nylon insulation meets UL 94 V-2 flame ratings, making it suitable for enclosed electrical environments.
This fork terminal is used in residential, commercial, and light industrial wiring applications where a 1/4 inch stud connection is required. It is appropriate for use in control panels, terminal strips, and equipment wiring where conductors need a secure, semi-insulated mechanical connection. The blue color coding corresponds to standard wire gauge range identification used across the trade. Sold in a package quantity of 100 units, it is suited for high-volume panel assembly work.
Designed as an OEM-style replacement fork terminal for use on 1/4 inch stud connections in standard residential and commercial electrical panel assemblies and control wiring applications.
Installation should be performed by a licensed electrician in accordance with NEC requirements. De-energize the circuit completely before terminating any conductors. Use a calibrated ratcheting crimp tool sized for the applicable wire gauge to ensure a proper crimp that meets UL 486A pull-force requirements. Do not over-crimp or re-crimp a terminal that has already been used.
