The box measures 3 inches in height, 2 inches in width, and 2.5 inches in depth, fitting standard stud cavities where existing drywall or plaster is already in place. It includes five 0.5-inch knockouts, giving installers flexible conduit and cable entry options. Licensed electricians handle installation as part of branch-circuit rough-in or device changeout work.

The LXOW-25 is suited for old-construction (retrofit) installs in residential walls and ceilings where new-construction boxes cannot be used.
