The THOMAS BETTS LT43E-NEW is a straight, threaded conduit connector designed for liquid-tight conduit systems. Built from thermoplastic with an insulated construction, this fitting provides a secure, water-resistant termination point where liquid-tight flexible conduit meets an electrical enclosure or junction box. It is sized for 3/4 inch trade size conduit and uses a threaded connection method for reliable engagement. Electricians and electrical contractors install this fitting in commercial and industrial environments where moisture exposure is a concern and non-hazardous area classification applies.
This connector is suited for residential, commercial, and light industrial wiring applications where liquid-tight flexible nonmetallic conduit must terminate at a panel, motor, enclosure, or control box. Its straight profile is appropriate for direct, in-line entries where no angular offset is needed. The water-resistant rating makes it a practical choice for damp or wet-location terminations in accordance with NEC requirements for liquid-tight systems. It is not rated for hazardous classified locations.
Designed as an OEM-style replacement fitting for 3/4 inch trade size liquid-tight flexible nonmetallic conduit (LFNC) systems in non-hazardous, water-resistant electrical installations.
Installation should be performed by a licensed electrician in accordance with applicable NEC articles governing liquid-tight conduit systems and wet or damp location wiring. De-energize all circuits and verify zero voltage at the enclosure before beginning termination work. Hand-tighten the connector onto the knockout, then snug with pliers or a strap wrench — do not over-torque thermoplastic fittings. Verify the conduit is fully seated and the fitting is watertight before restoring power.
