The THOMAS BETTS LT20J is an angled, insulated conduit connector designed for liquid-tight thermoplastic conduit systems. It provides a threaded connection at 2-inch trade size, securing flexible liquid-tight conduit to junction boxes, enclosures, and equipment knockouts in non-hazardous, water-resistant environments. The angled body helps route conduit in tight spaces where a straight connector would not fit. Licensed electricians and electrical contractors install this fitting as part of raceway systems protecting conductors from moisture and mechanical damage.
This connector is suited for commercial and industrial electrical installations where liquid-tight flexible nonmetallic conduit (LFNC) terminates at enclosures or panel knockouts. Common applications include HVAC equipment wiring, pump controls, and machine tool connections in indoor or outdoor non-hazardous locations. The water-resistant rating makes it appropriate for damp and wet location installations where conduit terminations need moisture protection without the requirements of a hazardous-location fitting.

Installation is performed by a licensed electrician in accordance with NEC Article 356 governing liquid-tight flexible nonmetallic conduit. De-energize all circuits and lock out power at the panel before beginning conduit termination work. Hand-tighten the threaded connector into the knockout, then snug with pliers or a strap wrench — do not overtighten thermoplastic fittings. Verify the conduit is fully seated and the insulated throat is positioned to protect conductor insulation at the entry point.
