The THOMAS BETTS L35 is a non-insulated, D-shaped ring terminal designed for crimp connections in electrical wiring applications. The terminal features a copper contact body with a titanium nitride (TiN) plating for reliable conductivity and surface durability. It accepts wire sizes from 14 to 8 AWG and is sized for a 1/4-inch stud. The overall length is 13/16 inches with a ring width of 3/8 inches and a body thickness of 3/32 inches. This terminal is used by licensed electricians and electrical contractors in panel wiring, equipment grounding, and general wire termination work where a bare crimp lug is required.
The L35 is suited for residential, commercial, and light industrial electrical installations. Its non-insulated design makes it appropriate for applications where terminals are installed in enclosed junction boxes, terminal strips, or equipment panels with existing insulation or sleeving. The D-shaped ring profile provides positive alignment on the stud and resists rotation during torque application, which is useful in panel and equipment wiring scenarios.
