The THOMAS BETTS L-14-120MH-9-C is a standard-duty nylon cable tie designed for bundling and securing wire harnesses, conduit runs, and cable assemblies in electrical, HVAC, and general trade applications. At 14.2 inches in overall length with a 120 lb tensile strength, this tie handles medium-to-heavy bundling tasks without requiring specialty tooling. The natural nylon construction resists moisture and mild chemicals, making it suitable for both indoor panels and protected outdoor enclosures. Each package contains 100 ties, giving installers a full working supply for panel builds, service runs, or retrofit jobs.
This cable tie is used across residential and light commercial installations wherever organized, secure wire management is required. Electricians reach for it during panel wiring, conduit terminations, and low-voltage rough-ins. HVAC technicians use it to dress control wiring, sensor leads, and refrigerant line insulation. The 4 inch maximum bundle diameter accommodates typical wire bundles encountered in service and new-construction work. The UL Recognized rating satisfies inspection requirements on jobs governed by the National Electrical Code.
Designed as a standard one-piece self-locking cable tie compatible with common cable tie installation tools that accept 0.300 inch wide tie stock. Suitable for general wire bundling and harnessing in electrical, HVAC, and data applications.
De-energize any circuit or equipment before dressing or securing wire bundles. Feed the tail through the locking head and cinch to the desired tension by hand or with a cable tie tensioning and cutting tool. Avoid over-tightening on insulated conductors, as excess tension can deform insulation. Trim the tail flush with the locking head after installation to eliminate sharp edges.
