The THOMAS BETTS HS102 is a screw-on pipe or conduit strap designed to secure 3/4 inch rigid or IMC conduit to structural surfaces. Fabricated from steel with a zinc plating finish, this single-hole mounting strap provides corrosion resistance suitable for standard interior and light commercial installations. At 0.062 pounds, the HS102 is a lightweight, single-piece fastening component that installs quickly with a single fastener. Electricians and conduit installers use it to anchor conduit runs to wood, metal, or masonry substrates as part of a code-compliant raceway system.
The HS102 is intended for use with 3/4 inch rigid metal conduit (RMC) and intermediate metal conduit (IMC) in residential, commercial, and light industrial electrical installations. It is suited for securing horizontal or vertical conduit runs along walls, ceilings, and structural members. The single mounting hole design reduces installation time when spacing straps along a conduit run. It is sold and packaged individually.
Designed for use with 3/4 inch rigid metal conduit (RMC) and intermediate metal conduit (IMC). Cross-referenced to Appleton part number CL-75, Minerallac part number 150, Gedney part number 14-75S, and Raco part number 1333.
Installation is performed by licensed electricians in accordance with NEC requirements for conduit support and spacing. Power should be de-energized in any adjacent circuits before working in the area. Secure the strap to the mounting surface using a fastener appropriate for the substrate — wood screw for framing, toggle or anchor bolt for masonry. Do not overtighten the mounting fastener in a way that deforms the strap or stresses the conduit wall.
