The THOMAS BETTS FO200-40-0 is a hook and loop cable tie designed for bundling, organizing, and securing wire and cable runs in electrical, HVAC, and low-voltage installations. Measuring 9 inches in overall length and 0.5 inches wide, this strap accommodates bundles up to 2 inches in diameter and delivers a tensile strength of 40 lb. Constructed from nylon and polyethylene, the tie carries a UL 94 V-2 flame-retardant rating, making it suitable for use in panel enclosures and conduit bundles where fire resistance is required. Sold in packages of 10.
This cable tie is commonly used by electricians, low-voltage technicians, and HVAC installers for routing and bundling wire harnesses, thermostat wiring, control wiring, and data cables in both residential and light commercial applications. The reusable hook and loop design allows technicians to adjust or remove bundles without cutting, which is useful during rough-in stages or when circuits are subject to future modification. The black color provides a clean, finished appearance in visible installations.
Designed as a general-purpose hook and loop cable tie for wire bundling and management in electrical, HVAC, and low-voltage control wiring applications.
Installation does not require tools and is suitable for any trade that manages wire or cable bundles. De-energize circuits before working inside panels or enclosures. Follow applicable NEC guidelines for cable bundling, fill calculations, and securing intervals. Do not exceed the rated bundle diameter or tensile strength of the tie.
