The THOMAS BETTS EYS31-TB is a conduit sealing fitting designed for use in hazardous locations where preventing the passage of gases, vapors, and flames through conduit systems is required by code. Built from iron with a threaded connection, this sealing fitting accepts sealing compound to create a vapor-tight seal within the conduit run. It is rated for 1-inch trade size rigid metal conduit and intermediate metal conduit (IMC). Licensed electricians install this fitting as part of hazardous location wiring systems in Class I, Division 1 and Division 2 environments such as industrial plants, petrochemical facilities, and similar sites.

This fitting is suited for use with 1-inch trade size rigid conduit and IMC in hazardous location installations where NEC Article 501 requirements apply.
