The THOMAS BETTS EFC075 is a corrugated, extra-flexible, liquidtight flexible nonmetallic conduit (LTFNMT) in a 3/4 inch trade size, manufactured from black PVC with a smooth inner bore. Rated for continuous service from -18 to 60 degrees C, it is oil resistant and carries both UL and CSA approvals. The smooth interior minimizes friction during wire pulls, while the corrugated outer jacket delivers maximum flexibility in tight routing applications. Licensed electricians and instrumentation technicians install this conduit as a protective raceway for control cable, fiber optic cable, and wiring assemblies in demanding indoor and outdoor environments.
This conduit is suited for a wide range of electrical and instrumentation applications. Typical uses include control cable installation, fiber optic cable protection, indoor and outdoor lighting circuits, marine and shipboard wiring, instrumentation runs, packaging equipment, graphic arts equipment, and flexing component wiring on robots. Its combination of oil resistance and all-weather PVC construction makes it appropriate for both industrial and commercial settings where moisture or fluid exposure is a concern.
Designed for use with liquidtight fittings specified for Style B LTFNMT nonmetallic conduit in 3/4 inch trade size. Suitable for use in control cable installation, fiber optic cable protection, instrumentation, marine and shipboard wiring, packaging equipment, graphic arts equipment, indoor and outdoor lighting, and robot flexing component wiring applications as listed.
Installation should be performed by a qualified electrician in accordance with NEC Article 356, which governs liquidtight flexible nonmetallic conduit. De-energize all circuits before beginning work and verify the absence of voltage with a suitable meter. Use only fittings listed and rated for LTFNMT service to maintain the liquidtight seal at termination points. Avoid exceeding the conduit temperature rating or exposing it to chemicals beyond its listed resistance profile.
