The THOMAS BETTS C10-6-SK is a non-insulated, D-shaped ring terminal designed for secure crimp connections on copper conductors ranging from 12 to 10 AWG. The terminal body is copper with a tin nitride (TiN) contact plating, which provides corrosion resistance and reliable conductivity at the connection point. At 0.82 inches in overall length and 0.31 inches in ring width, this terminal is sized for a 6 stud. Electricians and panel technicians use these terminals when terminating conductors at grounding points, bus bars, or equipment lugs where a bare, uninsulated ring-style lug is required by the installation or inspection standard.
This terminal is suited for residential and commercial electrical installations where 12 or 10 AWG conductors must be mechanically and electrically secured to a 6 threaded stud. Typical applications include control panel wiring, grounding terminations, and equipment hookups. The D-shaped ring geometry keeps the terminal oriented on the stud, reducing the chance of rotation during fastening. Each package contains 50 terminals, making it practical for batch termination work on larger panel or equipment installations.
Designed for crimp termination of 12 to 10 AWG copper conductors on 6 threaded studs. Compatible with standard non-insulated ring terminal applications in control panels, electrical enclosures, and grounding assemblies.
Installation should be performed by a qualified electrician in accordance with NEC requirements for wire terminations. De-energize the circuit and verify absence of voltage before terminating any conductor. Use a calibrated crimping tool rated for the terminal and wire gauge combination to ensure a gas-tight mechanical crimp. Do not use these non-insulated terminals in locations where contact with adjacent conductors or energized parts is possible without additional insulation measures.
