The THOMAS BETTS C10-10 is a non-insulated, D-shaped ring terminal designed for crimp connections on copper conductors ranging from 12 to 10 AWG. The contact is made from copper with a TiN (titanium nitride) plating for reliable conductivity and corrosion resistance. At 0.85 inches long and 0.38 inches wide, this terminal fits a No. 10 stud and provides a secure mechanical and electrical connection in panel wiring, control circuits, and equipment terminations. It is installed by electricians and electrical maintenance technicians working on industrial, commercial, or residential electrical systems.
This terminal is suited for use in control panels, motor starters, junction boxes, and equipment wiring where a non-insulated ring lug is preferred and the installer will apply separate sleeving or heat-shrink as needed. The 12 to 10 AWG wire range makes it a common choice for branch circuit and control wiring applications. Sold in packages of 50, it meets multiple safety and quality standards including UL 486A, UL 486B, CSA 22.2, and RoHS compliance.
Designed for use with 12 to 10 AWG copper conductors terminating on No. 10 stud hardware in standard electrical panel and control wiring applications.
This terminal is installed by licensed electricians or qualified electrical maintenance personnel. De-energize the circuit and verify absence of voltage before terminating any conductors. Use a calibrated crimp tool rated for non-insulated ring terminals to ensure a proper mechanical and electrical crimp. Follow NEC requirements for conductor termination and verify stud torque per the equipment manufacturer's specifications.
