The THOMAS BETTS A18-8F is a non-insulated, crimp-style standard fork terminal rated for 600 volts. It features a copper contact body with a tin (TiN) plating for corrosion resistance and reliable conductivity. Sized for a number 8 stud with a fork width of 0.31 inches and an overall length of 0.75 inches, this terminal is a compact, field-proven connection point used in panel wiring, control circuits, and equipment terminations. Electricians and panel builders use it wherever a secure, removable lug connection is needed at a screw or stud terminal point.
This fork terminal is suited for residential, commercial, and light industrial electrical work. It is commonly installed in control panels, motor starters, junction boxes, and low-voltage wiring harnesses where a stud-mount termination is preferred over a ring terminal. The red color coding aids wire-gauge identification during installation and inspection. Each package contains 100 pieces with a minimum order quantity of 1.
Designed as a standard OEM-style crimp fork terminal for use with number 8 studs in residential, commercial, and light industrial electrical panel and control wiring applications.
Installation should be performed by a licensed electrician in accordance with NEC requirements. De-energize the circuit completely before terminating or removing any conductors. Use a calibrated ratcheting crimp tool sized for the terminal to ensure a gas-tight, pull-resistant crimp. Inspect each crimp joint visually before closing the panel or enclosure.
