The THOMAS BETTS A18-110F is a female insulated wire disconnect terminal designed for quick-connect and quick-disconnect wiring applications. The terminal accepts 22-18 AWG wire and features a 0.11 inch tab width for positive engagement with mating male tab connectors. The red insulation sleeve provides visual wire-gauge identification at a glance, a standard color code widely used in industrial and HVAC wiring. Licensed electricians, HVAC technicians, and panel wiring professionals use these terminals when building or servicing low-voltage control circuits, appliance wiring harnesses, and equipment control panels. The A18-110F meets RoHS compliance requirements and carries a UL 94 V-0 flame rating on the insulation material.
This disconnect terminal is suited for residential and light commercial electrical and HVAC control wiring where a reliable, removable wire connection is needed without soldering. Common applications include furnace control board wiring, thermostat sub-base connections, appliance harness assemblies, and panel sub-circuit terminations. The female push-on design allows fast field assembly and straightforward disconnect for servicing. These terminals are packaged in quantities of 100, making them practical for bench stock in panel shops, service vans, and electrical contracting operations.
Designed as a standard female insulated push-on disconnect terminal compatible with 0.11 inch tab male connectors used in residential and commercial electrical, HVAC control, and appliance wiring applications.
Installation is performed by licensed electricians or qualified HVAC technicians following applicable NEC requirements. De-energize the circuit completely before terminating or removing any wire disconnect. Use a calibrated wire crimping tool rated for insulated disconnect terminals to ensure a secure, low-resistance crimp on 22-18 AWG conductors. Do not install by pulling on the insulation sleeve alone when mating or disconnecting, as this can damage the crimp joint.
