The THOMAS BETTS 71014 is a non-insulated, D-shaped ring terminal designed for crimp-style electrical connections in heavy-gauge wiring applications. Built with a copper contact, it accepts wire sizes from 2 AWG through 4/0 AWG and mounts to a 3/8 inch stud. The terminal measures 1.875 inches in overall length and 0.9375 inches in ring width, with a material thickness of 0.1875 inches. It carries UL Listed status under UL File E9809, CSA certification, and is RoHS compliant. Electricians and panel technicians use this terminal where a bare, compact ring lug is needed for bus bar, grounding, or heavy-load circuit terminations.
This terminal is suited for residential, commercial, and industrial electrical installations where large-conductor crimp terminations are required. Typical applications include main service panel grounding connections, equipment bonding, generator wiring, and heavy-gauge feeder runs.
