The THOMAS BETTS 702 4 is a galvanized pipe and conduit clamp designed to secure 4-inch rigid IMC conduit or pipe to Unistrut-style channel and B-Line strut systems. Constructed at 1/8-inch gauge, this clamp provides a solid, corrosion-resistant grip suited for both commercial and industrial installations. The gold galvanized finish adds a layer of protection against rust in exposed or moderately wet environments. Electricians and pipe tradespeople use this clamp when mounting conduit runs to strut channel framing in mechanical rooms, electrical rooms, and industrial plant floors.
This clamp is intended for use with 4-inch rigid steel conduit or same-diameter pipe in strut-supported installations. It is well-suited for commercial and light industrial applications where conduit must be organized along walls, ceilings, or overhead strut frameworks. The galvanized finish makes it appropriate for interior locations with moderate humidity exposure. Each package contains one clamp.
Cross-references to Unistrut part number P1121 and B-Line part number B2017. Designed for use with 4-inch rigid IMC conduit or pipe in strut channel support systems.
Installation is typically performed by a licensed electrician or pipefitter following NEC or IPC guidelines as applicable to the conduit or pipe system. Power down or depressurize the relevant system before working on supported conduit or pipe runs. Secure the clamp to the strut channel using the appropriate hardware before tightening to avoid misalignment. Do not use in applications exceeding the rated gauge or pipe size.
