Designed as an OEM-style conduit fitting for use with threaded rigid metal conduit and intermediate metal conduit (IMC) systems in non-hazardous locations at a 1-3/4 inch trade size.
Installation is performed by licensed electricians in accordance with the National Electrical Code (NEC). De-energize all circuits and verify the conduit run is free of conductors before making fitting changes. Thread the reducer onto the conduit end by hand first, then use a strap wrench or pipe wrench to achieve a tight, secure connection. This fitting is rated for non-hazardous locations only and must not be used in classified hazardous areas.
