Rated for 4/0 AWG wire, it features a copper contact body with a titanium nitride (TiN) plating that resists corrosion and improves conductivity at the joint. The terminal measures 2.13 inches in length and 1.03 inches in width, with a 5/16-inch stud hole and a barrel thickness of 0.14 inches. It is identifiable by its purple color coding, which is standard for 4/0 AWG terminations. Licensed electricians and industrial maintenance technicians are the primary installers of this component.
This terminal is suited for residential, commercial, and industrial electrical work wherever 4/0 AWG conductors require a secure, low-resistance ring-lug connection. Do not attempt to crimp this terminal with undersized or ratchet tools that are not rated for the gauge.
