It features a copper contact body with a titanium nitride (TiN) plating, which provides corrosion resistance and reliable conductivity at the mating surface. The terminal measures 2.35 inches in length and 0.92 inches in width, with a 1/2-inch stud hole to suit heavy-duty fastening points. This type of lug is installed by licensed electricians and maintenance technicians working on high-ampacity circuits in industrial, commercial, or utility applications where a bare, uninsulated termination is acceptable.
This ring terminal is suited for large-conductor termination tasks such as grounding connections, bus bar attachments, and panel feeder terminations. The compression connection method requires a calibrated crimping tool sized for 3/0 AWG to achieve a cold-weld bond between the conductor and the terminal barrel. The orange color coding assists with quick AWG identification during installation and inspection.
