The THOMAS BETTS 3115 is a straight, insulated conduit connector designed for use with flexible metal conduit (FMC). It features a set screw connection type and is constructed from steel for durability in standard electrical installations. The 3/4 inch trade size fits the most common FMC diameter used in commercial and residential wiring. Licensed electricians and electrical contractors install this fitting when terminating FMC runs at junction boxes, panels, or enclosures. The insulated throat protects wire insulation at the entry point, reducing the risk of abrasion damage on conductors passing through.
This connector is suited for non-hazardous area applications in both residential and light commercial electrical work. It is commonly installed where FMC transitions to a metal enclosure, such as at motor connections, equipment drops, or conduit-to-box terminations. The straight body profile keeps the installation compact and aligned with the knockout entry. Electricians reach for this fitting during rough-in and equipment connection phases where FMC is the specified raceway type.
Designed as an OEM-style replacement fitting for use with 3/4 inch trade size flexible metal conduit (FMC) in non-hazardous electrical installations.
Installation should be performed by a licensed electrician in accordance with applicable NEC requirements. De-energize the circuit and verify power is off before working at any enclosure or panel. Insert the FMC into the connector body and tighten the set screw firmly to secure the conduit before pulling wire. Do not use this fitting in hazardous classified locations.
