The THOMAS BETTS 15109-100 is a flexible liquidtight PVC conduit designed to protect electrical wiring in wet, damp, and corrosive environments. With a 1-1/4 inch trade size, an inside diameter of 1.385 inches, and an outside diameter of 1.645 inches, this conduit provides a sealed, flexible pathway for conductors where rigid conduit is impractical. The black PVC construction resists moisture, mild chemicals, and UV exposure. It ships as a 100-foot coil and is sold in 1-foot cut increments with a 25-foot minimum cut length. Electricians install this conduit in commercial and industrial applications where a watertight, flexible connection is required at equipment terminations.
This liquidtight flexible conduit is used in residential, commercial, and light industrial electrical installations. Common applications include final connections to HVAC units, motors, pumps, compressors, and other equipment subject to vibration or requiring flexible routing. It is particularly suited for outdoor and wet-location wiring where the conduit must maintain a liquidtight seal at fittings. Electricians use it with compatible liquidtight fittings to complete NEC-compliant conduit runs at equipment termination points.
Designed for use with standard 1-1/4 inch trade size liquidtight conduit fittings in flexible conduit installations per NEC requirements for wet and damp locations.
Installation should be performed by a licensed electrician in accordance with the National Electrical Code (NEC) and applicable local codes. De-energize all circuits before beginning conduit work. Use listed liquidtight fittings rated for the conduit trade size and location type. Avoid kinking the conduit during routing, as sharp bends can reduce the interior clearance and stress the PVC jacket.
