The THOMAS BETTS 12011-mr is a 2-inch trade size ENT (Electrical Nonmetallic Tubing) flexible conduit designed for routing electrical conductors in residential and light commercial construction. Sold cut to length, this non-metallic conduit offers flexible routing through framed walls, floors, and ceilings where rigid conduit is impractical. The blue color coding aids in quick identification on the job site. Licensed electricians install ENT conduit as part of NEC-compliant wiring systems in wood-frame and concrete-encased applications.
This conduit is suited for concealed installations within walls, floors, and ceilings in residential and commercial buildings. The 2-inch trade size accommodates larger conductor bundles and is commonly used in new construction and remodel work where non-metallic flexible conduit is permitted by the National Electrical Code. The cut-to-length format allows field crews to pull exactly what is needed for a given run without waste from fixed-length packaging.
Designed as an OEM-style replacement and standard-fit ENT conduit for use with compatible 2-inch trade size ENT fittings and couplings in NEC-compliant electrical installations.
Installation should be performed by a licensed electrician in accordance with NEC Article 362 governing Electrical Nonmetallic Tubing. De-energize all circuits before working in the installation area. ENT is approved for concealed installations in walls, floors, and ceilings of buildings not exceeding the height limits specified by the NEC. Do not use ENT in exposed locations, where subject to physical damage, or in areas where the ambient temperature exceeds the conduit rating.
